| Ah! My Goddess (TV) | Excellent | The romance in this series is obvious with the interactions between Belldandy and Keiichi. What I love about it is that it is a very innocent one. Keiichi is very clumsy when it comes to romance but it is set in the beginning when it shows how he has problems conveying anything to the opposite sex. And Belldandy is the model of virtue. So that is where the snail-paced romance comes in. The other characters sometimes even chide them for the childlike romance, but it is very sweet and nice to follow. |
| Ai Yori Aoshi (TV) | Very good | This has to be my favorite romantic series. No matter how I look at it, the romance involves two strong and lovable characters who I can't help but root for. Beautiful often secret moments shared between the two are the main reason I can't get enough of this series and the manga. |

| Looking Up At The Half-Moon (TV) | Excellent | This is a romance that aims to try to rip your heart out and it comes dangerously close. The emotional level is so strong you actually want to feel it with the characters. A beautiful story that no romance fan should miss. |

| Millennium Actress (movie) | Masterpiece | I cannot really say much about the romance in this story that can do it much justice. The romantic feelings that are shown may be for a lost love but maybe also just a love of love. |
| Ranma ½ OAV | Masterpiece | This is also one of my favorites because it tells some of the most beautiful moments in the history of Akane and Ranma. For a fan of the series, each of those scenes made my heart leap. |
| REC (TV) | Excellent | This one may be the most realistic romance I have ever seen in, not just in anime but in any entertainment media. Following these characters and their story made me think a few times that I remember feeling that way too. |
