Oh nice one... I saw angela and fripside's 2015 animax musix concert together and they're the best... Cool 2 more songs added to my playlist.

Shame... flumpool's OP for S1 was awesome (as was the ED). fripSide can't even hope to match that.

I am not familiar with this anime but I really want to hear the song.
Angela is my favorite, I got hooked on them way back when I watched Stellvia for the first time, and I like everything that I have heard from fripSide going back to Koihime Musou.

Great choice if it had to be someone new. While I would have really liked flumpool to do a new song in a similar style to their first OP, Angela could certainly do a great song for this show.

As an aside, her first Knights of Sidonia OP for this studio was glorious.

Yeah, it's going to be tough, the first OP was perfection. Also loved the ED.

Ajin's first OP (song, animation, and all) was the first movie's ending credits. Is this a sign that season two has it's own production budget, or are they being sneaky and planning to use this new song for the third movie?

Have you compared the anime to the movies at all? They are LITERALLY the same. Movie 1 was episodes 1-4, Movie 2 was around episodes 5-8, Movie 3 is predictably the rest of the anime season. The idea that the movies are just seemingly made by the same as the anime series is just a farce. They are one and the same.
Hopefully they skip this movie business in season 2.

Movie 1 was covered in episodes 1-6, with some reordering and extended cuts in the TV version. Movie 2 only just came out (so I haven't seen it yet), but the promos have teased events past where the first cour ended (Kai's return, that winged IBM, etc.), so I suspect the second TV cour will cover the latter half of that movie and the whole of movie 3. If the latter half of season 1 is any indicator, the TV series' total runtime will probably be close to twice as long as the movies.
