Looks interesting. Considering the success of the game, they should have the budget to make a good show.

true. but considering that this so called extinction event occurred in fuyuki, tokyo , 2004 which isnt coincidentally the sighting of the 5th holy grail war, i wouldnt be surprised if this series have in a way some kind of relation to one of the stay night routes since there was a sighting of dark saber there, though its possible it might have a relation to stay night's sequel, hollow ataraxia. the trailer, at least some parts show some hints that the events from hollow ataraxia might had a part in the events of grand order, thought right now at this time ,its all speculation at this point. |

That's one way to kill a franchise. It will most probably be another generic anime. I am not seeing any potential here. I am pretty disappointed to be honest.
