That's cute, Funimation, but all we REALLY want to know is if Johnny Yong Bosch, Yuri Lowenthal, and Kate Higgins came back.

I'd say that with Micah being Akito, there is a good chance than JYB will reprise. I also have confidence with spoiler[Spike Spencer reprising as Rolo], though not so much about Kate and Yuri. |

I'm really looking forward to this. I've already pre-ordered my copy.
Cast looks good so far. Really hope to see JYB in the cast. Won't be the same without him. Haven't heard much from Yuri lately, but his return would make it a dream come true. |

Kate and Yuri are exclusively California dub voice actors and I believe only do union-only shows (Texas, where Funimation is located, is a right-to-work state). Johnny Yong Bosch has a history of being in Funimation shows, so he probably is going to come back. Personally I think it would interesting to see Josh Grelle play Suzaku in this dub. Both he and Yuri have similar vocal ranges and have played similar characters. Also it would be ironic because in the original ADV dub of Gurren Lagann that was never released, Josh Grelle played Simon, who would be played by Yuri Lowenthal when the show was dubbed in California instead. |

Not quite. Idk their status but both Kate and Yuri also do non-union projects. And it wouldn't surprise me if, like they did in the past with various shows, Funimation paid union fees for the reprisals. As for the California thing. Funimation have plenty of connections in California that could do the recording there. |

Him, or Jason Liebrecht, or Lucien Dodge - who is CA, but... As for the whole CA vs TX thing in terms of location, how much of a thing is that anymore? The Gosick cast was full of both. Do they do lines over the internet now? A lot of things voice actors have said have sort of implied that that's possible, but... And they're going to need quite a few CA people for Resurrection and the recap movies, assuming they get those. So I hope they can. I heard that Yuri might not be doing anime anymore because he wants to focus on other things (along with his wife, who didn't reprise roles in the Neptunia series or K). I think that's the same for quite a few people in CA. Anyway, Miyu Irino (Akito's seiyuu in Japanese) is taking a hiatus, so that might affect how much/ when these characters appear in Resurrection, but then again, Resurrection might not come out for a while... |

I'm sure Funimation will get most if not all the original cast back because of the new season of Code Geass coming up. They will dub this and broadcast dub the new season as well.

Seems some longtime VAs are slowly dropping out of anime, which does pave the way for new blood to enter the scene, but thankfully it's not as if they're not doing anything else, such as western productions and video games. Though Troy Baker hasn't been in an anime role since 2012, for example, he has been in some recent stuff like Hawkman in Justice League Action and reprising Snow again for World of Final Fantasy last year. Tara Platt wasn't able to reprise Vert or Seri because of scheduling issues. Yuri Lowenthal took over the role of Mercury Black in RWBY, so he's more than willing to work for Texan companies if they make offers. |

So it's the same as Laura Bailey not being in Persona 4 Dancing then? That's good to know, especially since she still has roles in Viz's Sailor Moon & Crystal dubs that aren't done. |

Ah, I missed that that was the cause of Seri's replacement also. Was a shame when she couldn't come back as Seri and Vert for the K movie or VII. I really like hearing her in shows/games. spoiler[Not to discount the VA that took on the roles though since in other roles Carrie's also one of my favs thanks to stuff like Kill la Kill, her Satsuki was perfection for example.] |

#861208, some of them have home studios or may use Skype. I believe the CA actor who has been most heavily involved with Funi (people who moved from TX to CA don't count) is Patrick Seitz. Heck, if I was him, I would probably move to TX to avoid those plane fairs.
