He also served as production desk or production runner on other anime such as Kanamemo, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Purezza, Outbreak Company, Lady Jewelpet, In Search of the Lost Future, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!, and This Art Club Has a Problem!.

Someone's not doing his/her homework, alright.

I found a major mistake in the article. Hirokatsu Kihara (木原浩勝) the writer is NOT the same person as Hirokatsu Kihara (木原広勝) the production runner. Granted that Kihara the writer worked as production runner for Ghibli back in 80's, but why would he go back working as production runner when he established himself as a novelist? It doesn't make any sense.

Writing good article means double checking the sources and relying only on ANN encyclopedia is not a good practice.

That's true, but what you don't know well is that Suwa is a mangaphile (he has over 4000 volumes of manga in one interview I read) and his passion for manga keeps him to produce mainstream manga-based anime like Detective/Case Closed, the File of Young Kindaichi, Black Jack, and others for Yomiuri TV. If he didn't like manga, then chances are he wouldn't bother producing anime on prime time for 20+ years.
