For a moment I thought that the visual novel was going to be brought to the West.

Disappointed.

Happy to see that dub fans will get a chance to enjoy this series. Nearly fainted when I saw this listed.

About time! Now someone pick up the VN licence, it's not an unreasonable request. Wink

Adam Gibbs seems to be showing up in more Funimation dubs, which is pretty good since he has a very distinctive voice

Really glad to see AOKANA getting a release here. It deserves more attention than what it gets. Definitely an underrated series all-around.

Good to see this show hasn't been forgotten. I tried this on a whim when it came out, expecting it to be typical fanservice or harem schlock. Instead it was a surprisingly good sports anime, with a very likable cast. My only issue was that I found that the game's rules weren't explain as clearly as I would have liked.

Considering that Sentai Filmworks has a low dub count each year, it makes sense to go with Funi as often as you can. Though a 4-5.5 hour drive on a regular basis is not my thing if I was in his position. That's why I would use SourceConnect as often as I can.

Happy to see this post! I didn't know Funi picked up this series, but I'm glad someone finally did. Also looks like a bit of a Hyouka reunion with this dub cast. Harris, Gibbs, Morris, Tipton...the only major one missing is Dallas Reid.

Seconded! Aokana and A Good Librarian Like a Good Shepherd have been at the top of my VN wishlist for quite a while.

I'm hoping Bryson Baugus makes a similar leap now that he's been in the Darling in the Franxx dub.
