Kinda surprised the idol fan in question is an older woman instead of a guy (but it's probably funnier this way).

The author of this manga specializes in yuri manga, and her publisher publishes many yuri and yuri-ish works, so this was expected. Merch with these characters were even sold at yurifest this year. However, despite the gayness of MC, she has many male otaku friends.
