It looks interesting, but I see that it's a sequel. I assume it's easy enough to get into without seeing the first series (why show it otherwise?), but still... I'm weird like that.

I'm glad to see Encore continuing the trend of an anime each month. This is the third month in a row. Wonder if I can upgrade to just Encore Action only instead of the whole package, LOL.

It's pretty easy to get into it. And, IIRC, they do a basic plot run-down on before the opening song the first half of the series.

You don't get all the bacground on the characters, but most of the important angst-moments are brought up in the series.

But seeing as how Saiyuki is one big road trip, you don't need to know a lot to get into it. Wink (As much as I love the series, I'll be the first to admit that there ain't much plot-wise.)

If nothing else, Reload is worth it for the Ura-sai segments. Anime hyper

Thats true, you really dont need to know what happened previously to get into it, its just awesome if you do.
