Not every day you see a cast announcement for an actor who already appeared in the show they're announced for. Even considering the non-Japanese viewers who can't normally watch this yet thanks to Netflix, I swear Labilia already showed up four episodes ago. That said, I'm glad we got someone other than Satomi Sato, which should quiet some of the comparisons to Wendy (unlike the more on-the-nose lookalikes, Labilia and Wendy REALLY have nothing in common besides being girls with long blue hair), but I wasn't expecting a relative if not complete unknown. But maybe I should start expecting more of that, seeing as most of the more prominent roles are going to B-list and bit actors, while the bigger names are kept to special guest appearances.
I'd say the same of Yuki Shin as Jinn if he wasn't already the star of Tokyo Revengers, which totally made my day. Hope to see more of the guy. |

Man, people are so ignorant that Labillia, Homura, and Hermit have all been compared to Wendy. The only one where it's even remotely justified imo is Hermit. That said, I'm happy to see relative unknowns getting a shot here. If EZ goes long like FT, these could be long term defining roles for them. |

It's pretty obvious that Labilla's design is more or less a variation of Edolas Wendy. Homura's design is pretty much a fusion of Wendy and Kagura. |

I always had Ayaneru in mind for Labilia, but no complaints about the casting.
