I'm loving the May'n news recently and I want more. Feels like a resurgence.

Ticket price is $43. I might just wait for the blu-ray release and import that instead.

There's no guarantee a Macross concert live will get a blu-ray release. One of the latest lives that the Macross franchise did was the Crossover Live which did not get a release.

Having only a 24 hour archiving period, and such a restricted range of supported platforms that nothing that I have supports it makes it a non-starter for me (even though the https://play.globecoding.jp/static/gc_support.html page claims "Android and OS apps for high-quality viewing are scheduled to be introduced at the end of May 2021.").

Zaiko and twitcasting.tv streaming for other live shows from Japan have been working fine for me, it just seems that other services want to claim that they are better at preventing unauthorised copying and don't mind not having so many paying customers due to their restrictions locking the potential customers out.

From the Tokyo Otaku Mode ordering page I found the link to https://play.globecoding.jp/static/gc_support.html and from there the Android app URL https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.globecoding.play (current version released in the first week of October 2021, claimed to have first been released on 31st May 2021 but I could not previously find it) and verified that it worked with their test video, then when I tried to get it to launch from https://play.globecoding.jp/video/trmjc/index.html after entering the code from the purchase page, nothing happened, so I re-enabled and updated Chrome and was able to watch the stream in the browser only but not in the app.

GLOBE CODING support acknowledged that the app was not available for the MacrossF Galaxy Live 2021 "REVENGE" event, but this fact was not able to be determined from any information online when purchasing a code for the event.
