Animation looks might nice, and it seems they're putting more focus on a main four rather than try to focus on a massive ensemble. Will keep this one on my radar

Kinda reminds of the style used in God Eater from way back. Hope it ends up better than that story wise.

Maybe CR? At the time this was announced, CR was still owned by AT&T/Warner Media and this might be one of the last Warner Japan anime that CR might have negotiated for guaranteed licensing.

It looks good, but it kind of feels like a cinematic that would have a "Not actual gameplay" warning on it.

I believe the opening has better art than the actual episodes. No matter. I'll watch.

My general sense is that for a quick comp, the story should be "86" levels of depressing, with "Vivy" levels of humanization of the cast of non-humans, similar tonally to both. That will be hard for them to pull off - there's a reason those are two of the best anime to come out in the last few years. We'll have to see how they want to go about covering a relatively big story. IMO these game-to-anime projects have done better of late with not feeling their only choice is to dive headlong into frivolity, but results still have been hit or miss.

Hopefully this goes better than the last Chinese Mobile Game to get an anime adaption, (looking at you Azur Lane)
