So, animal girl that runs around in her underwear, animal girl who is too serious for her own good, science girl who sleeps too much, and proud beauty that stands in front of a mirror naked and paints (?) herself black.

It's not paint.
She uses a special suit made out of slimes to enhance her, uh, assets. She's flat as a washboard without it.

I love that she's like the best at manipulating slime in the group but it's purely because she learned to master it just to try and get a body hotter than any of the other girls.

I haven't read the latest ENG volume of the series but I know like nothing about Zeta and Eta. I guess they've been in the webnovel more or something.
They look fun though (Zeta mostly).
Reminds me I need to order the latest volume....my order got cancelled and I haven't gotten around to buying it...

This sounds like a variation on the essential premise behind The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Regardless, I tend to like stories which rely on the "accidental competence" gimmick, so I'll definitely be giving this one a serious look.

the jokes are really, really good. i was worried about this getting a bad direction/budget ( cough mobseka, cough) because that would murder the show, but the trailers looks great

Delta and Epsilon are fantastic characters, can't wait to see them. Eta and Zeta still haven't really appeared up to the point the English LN release is at, so I'm assuming the series will either burn through the material incredibly quickly or they will have original moments added.

Eta and Zeta appearing worries me further. Is this going to be another super fast adaptation that skips large portions of the source material?
I was already nervous that the trailers make it look like a generic action isekai, cutting out the soul and humor of the central story. Or at least paring it down quite a bit. Now I also need to worry that the anime is also going to destroying any pacing, like so many recent adaptations have.

All seven members of Cid's "harem" think it's all real so the trailers showcasing them are going to be heavy on the action. Even so we do get a glimpse of them being not-so-action-oriented here and there (Beta's endless fan-fictioning, for example).
