I feel like they once again didn't learn a thing from the game's initial launch - with Persona 5: Royal hitting this week on Steam as well, this launch is kind of doomed to fail once again. Doesn't help that the launch discount is kind of... eh. At this point, Neo is consistently getting at least 50% off on all platforms, including on PC in the EGS, so what they're offering on Steam is kind of... underwhelming in comparison.
Don't get me wrong, it's cool that Steam users can finally play this too, but a sudden launch like this without much advertising beforehand, and putting it into the same week as P5R, is just asking for a repeat of the disaster launch from last year. |
