Wow, first Pluto and now this. It looks like the combo GENCO+M2 is here to make the world a better place Laughing
However, something tells me this is going to be a real nightmare to actually watch in the West... hopefully it gets picked by Netflix or something Confused

Interesting choice for a short.

If you've not heard of Yamanaka, he made over 20 films, only three are now known to exist, this is about one of his missing films. You can get the surviving ones in a now OOP boxset from the UK.

I hope this gets an English release at some point but I know companies in the past have talked about how awkward it is to get shorts released on disc.

I kinda feel the style in the image shown, is some special style since I don't see it in anime usually and I find it the best looking style like the coloring and how everything looks
I don't know if it has a specific name or method or what

I think it will, given that Katushiro Otomo is involved in this work, I think and I have a feeling either Netflix or GKIDS will get the US license for an English release at some point.

I'll say this, Rintaro's 1st work in 14 years is going to get a lot of hype from long-time anime veterans like me. I'm excited to see how this is going to turn out.
