It's safe to say that The Beginning is not saving Digimon. I don't think Toei would spend a lot of money into this movie just to settle for 6th place.

Last Kizuna didn't set the box office on fire etiher, it did well overseas though.
But also if Last Kizuna and The Beginning were such high priority projects Toei would have aniamted them themselves.
