I’m excited for a new season! It would also be nice if Crunchyroll dubbed and released the fourth season on Blu-Ray, already.

The last release was in November 2022. Sisyphos will get that boulder up the hill sometime next decade but the last anime and the new manga simply do it better. IG would have adapted Fujisaki´s manga (now in Vol 28) in a perfect world. He melded the novels + gaiden and some bits and designs from the OVAs quite well.

I would love to know what the average age of the viewers of this and Starblazer currently is. Has to be around 40.

+ 1000
Awesome news indeed but it would be even better if they keep dubbing the whole thing

Ah, good to finally see an announcement for a sequel. I was worried we wouldn't get more seasons after they didn't announce the next one just after the last one finished the same way they had done before. Looking forward to seeing the next part, it's probably going to involve a lot of spectacular space battles.

Great to see. I recently watched all of this, so the sooner a new season comes the better Laughing

I don’t know why. Maybe the show wasn’t popular enough. I bought all three seasons as they came out, but I’m just one person.

Season 2 doesn't even look like it's currently in print.

I do worry about it. It was a simuldub up until the last part, and now no word on if it is getting dubbed. I'm hoping it just became one of those shows that didn't make the cut for a simuldub, but does get one for home video.

Crunchyroll prioritizes streaming over home video though, and this one is still MIA...

I suspect the hold up over the LOGH dub might be because it was dubbed by Okratron 5000 and not Crunchyroll's own in house studio and we've seen Crunchyroll prioritize their in house studio dubs since the merge. Looking at their Dubbing Wikia page I don't think Okratron 5000 has dubbed anything for Crunchyroll since the merge besides Link Click and Love Live. Their most recent dub has been dubbing Ultraman Blazar which is on YouTube.
