Can't think of any specific responses, so I'll just say thanks.

Go Nagai you could say is responsible for a lot of important things we take for granted today in anime. His importance is highly under rated in the states.

He is one of the masters in the anime industry especially in the Super robots. And that's a fact !!!

I wish if the interviewer asked him about his upcoming Z Mazinger anime.

I find it nice that Goldorak/Grendizer is one of his favorite creations, as I've been watching and enjoying it so far (I'm up to episode 9). Anime catgrin

Still, you have to admit that his contribution to the Mecha genre allowed it to evolve into what it is today.

Without him, great series like Macross Plus and Megas XLR might not have existed!

Miyazaki this, Ohsii that, people, Go Nagai has always been the man, kicking A$$ for over 40 years with stuff like Devilman, Cutey Honey, Kekko Kamen, Getter Robo and Mazinger Z!!!!

More people in the US should appreciate his long body of work and influence in the industry.

Interestingly interview. Always loved 'Go Nagai'. His cherubic face hides dark and twisted dreams.

We owe much to 'Go Nagai'. If it weren't for him the hot blooded-ness of such shows like 'King of Braves GaoGaiGar' and 'Gurren Lagan' wouldn't be. A major pioneer in the making. And once again 'Osamu Tezuka' always comes up as a major influence to many veteran and new age artists.

'Cutey Honey' has always been one of my favorites. I would love to meet him just once.

You really can't deny the fact that Go Nagai is responsible for a lot of the extremes of anime we often take for granted, such as complete disregard for physics, fanservice, and super robot.

Any fan who disregards this man is a complete fool and should not be consider a true anime fan.
