For their next product...the Mami USB flash drive (with obvious cap design).

I think anyone can make that memory stick. I mean... it is just Kyubey face on it.

US$42 for a single four-gig stick? Obviously these are not meant to be used so much as just be collectors' items.

It only looks to be about a 50% markup over list price for the baseline Sony product made-in-Japan for the Japanese market. I did a quick look at Amazon Japan. Versions of the baseline product by other manufacturers, and by Sony for foreign markets, but re-imported (gray market) to Japan are less expensive.

There are already memory stick versions for the Phantasy Star, Monster Hunter, and Taiko Drum Master. Each of these also includes special codes for various down-loadable extras.

Eh, his post is vague enough where it would be hard to know what he is hinting at unless you have seen the show.

Now, Dormcat's link on the other hand is a huge spoiler...but at least it's a link, and one can guess it might be a spoiler since it's in response to a vague spoiler hint.

Except that's not true. I have not seen the show, but thanks to PPMM fans never shutting their mouths, I already know that spoiler[a character dies by getting her head bitten off].

So, I had a REALLY large spoiler spoiled for me because PPMM won't shut the f*** up about the show. That and Japanese artists have an incredibly disturbing, near-fetishistic love of making fanart of that scene.

Well... you were spoilered by other people in other posts. If you didn't already know things about the show, it's doubtful that post in this thread would have revealed much. So I think you were a bit harsh on TheAncientOne, when your real issue seems to be with other posters.

I want that Smile

And yeah, people are very loose with spoilers.. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to put 2 and 2 together with all the 'head' jokes people make about her here.

Though I suppose if someone hasn't seen Madoka by now it's their own fault.. it's like being spoiled which character in Final Fantasy 7 dies... or who Darth Vader is.

Or maybe, just maybe, said person was waiting for a license and dub, as I was.

Sorry, but I don't watch fansubs, I'm not a parasitic leech on the anime fandom.

First of all, it ain't our fault that no company managed to simulcast the series. Although if you were waiting for a dub, then well, that sort of explains a little but based on your attitude I still can't feel much sympathy for you.

Secondly, why are you in a PMMM thread if you haven't even watched the show yet? Please don't tell me that you visit YouTube videos too and then complain about the spoilers in the comments. It is sort of assumed that anyone who is interested in the merchandising of a show has already seen said show, because otherwise why would you be interested?

Thirdly, TheAncientOne didn't spoil anything, not to you and not to the uninitiated regarding Mami. You'd already been spoiled for starters, and by someone else, but surely a person can say at least that much (and in a vague way) and not have to tag it. Especially in a thread talking about the show's merchandising (see second point).

Implying fansub watchers don't support the industry.
