this here is a big reason i'll never buy digital manga. Its much easier to lose data than it is to lose a physical copy of a book and if the company folds like this and that data gets wiped you're screwed. |

I'm happy to buy DRM-free ebooks (and I frequently do, mostly doujinshi) since I can back those up myself in any manner I choose.
But yeah, I won't buy stuff that's dependent on the whims of some internet server to authorize me reading it. |
