Toei's long-running Kamen Rider franchise began in 1971. In recent years, the tokusatsu (special effects) franchise has debuted a new series yearly.
TOKU is a television channel under Olympusat, Inc. It also launched beta on its WatchToku.com subscription streaming platform in May. The service, available in the United States and Canada, offers anime and tokusatsu titles, among other Asian films and series.
The streaming service's tokusatsu offerings currently include various installments from the Ultra series, Mirrorman, and Gridman, all from Tsuburaya Productions. The service most recently added the Ultraman titles that expired from the Crunchyroll streaming service last month.
