Trivia:

ADV Films paid $156,000 to license the first season in 2007.

In episode 10, Riyoko, looking at the starry night sky, quotes: "'Furu you na hoshi'. Sonna koto itteta eiga ga atte wa ne." ('It's full of stars'). This is a quote from Arthur C. Clarke's novel '2001: A Space Odyssey', although it didn't appear in Stanley Kubrick's movie, but in the sequel '2010'.
