Description:
Kenshin faces a difficult challenge if he is to keep his vow to protect Megumi, as she has earned the ire of Kanryuu, a notorious opium dealer. Forced against her will to make opium for him for years, Megumi finally ran off. Now, he has kidnapped her since she is the only person who knows the formula for the cheaper grade of opium that Kenshin peddles. To complicate matters, the opium Megumi produced killed one of Sano's friends. Knowing this, Kenshin and Sano still decide to save her from Kanryuu, even though freeing her from his mansion will mean battling the Oniwabanshuu and defeating their legendary leader, Aoshi Shinomori. This third volume includes the television series' episodes 9-12.
