Proplica Line to Arm Sailor Moon Fans with Spiral Heart Moon Rod

The Sailor Moon Proplica family is about to see a new addition.
The upcoming installment of Bandai's Proplica product line, made to recreate the many tools of Sailor Moon's vast array of weapons in stunningly realistic detail, will be the Spiral Heart Moon Rod. The replica comes complete with lights and sounds made to Sailor Moon's Moon Spiral Heart Attack and Rainbow Moon Heart Ache attacks. This lovely collectible is expected to be released in November and cost 11,000 yen (about US$89).
The Spiral Heart Moon Rod Proplica is set to make its first public appearance at the 2015 Tokyo Toy Show on June 20 and June 21. It will even make an appearance in the Japanese musical production, Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: -Un Nouveau Voyage-.
The magical weapon made its first anime appearance in the third season of the show, Sailor Moon S. The Spiral Heart Moon Rod was forged from the love between Usagi and Mamoru and gives Sailor Moon the ability to cast the Moon Spiral Heart Attack, and the Rainbow Moon Heart Ache in her super form.
The previous Proplica release was Sailor Moon's Cutie Moon Rod, featured at last year's Tokyo Toy Show.
Other upcoming products include a non-Proplica recreation of Sailor Neptune's weapon, the Deep Aqua Mirror, being released and sold on the Premium Bandai site in September for 9,720 yen (about US$79). Preorders are being accepted until July 2.
