Whisper of the Heart's Youko Honna Announces She's 7 Months Pregnant

Voice actress Yōko Honna announced on her blog on Friday that she is seven months pregnant. The Whisper of the Heart voice actress gave birth to a daughter in June 2015.
Honna said on her blog, "Now, I am blessed with a new life. Currently, it's seven months since conception." She revealed that she experienced a miscarriage before becoming pregnant with her current child. Although that period was difficult for her, Honna said that her morning sickness has now stabilized, and she is full of energy. The voice actress said about transitioning to life with a second child, "Every day is very fresh and different than the time with my first child."
Honna noted that there was also a lot of concern in regard to her costars during the early stages of her pregnancy. Two of her male costars had children born during that time, and two women (herself included) conceived.
The voice actress thanked fans for their continued support and said, "I'm looking forward to the day I meet my healthy child, and I will enjoy both work and raising children with all my might!"
She is possibly best known for her role as Nagisa Misumi/Cure Black in the first Precure anime Futari wa Pretty Cure and its sequel Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart, as well as the franchise's many films. She also played the roles of protagonist Shizuku in the Whisper of the Heart film and recently starred in Trigger's Space Patrol Luluco as Luluco's mother and pirate Lalaco Godspeed.
