Spirited Away Wins Critics Choice Award

Beats out Lilo & Stitch, Ice Age and Spirit
Adding to its growing list of awards, Spirited Away has won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Animated Feature of 2002. Other Nominees were Lilo & Stitch, Ice Age and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. The award was accepted by a prepresentative of Disney Feature animation.
The Critics' Choice Awards are bestowed by the Broadcast Film Critics Association, winners were selected by written ballots in mid-December and announced January 17th, the day after the votes were tabulated.
The award show was broadcast on E! Entertainment Television on Saturday evening, January 18th.
