Shoko Nakagawa to Sing Gurren Lagann Movie Theme

Otaku personality/singer/actress Shōko Nakagawa has announced at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2008 on Saturday that she will be singing the theme song for Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann movie. She made the announcement during her mini-concert. She also noted that she will be performing her first overseas live concert at Anime Expo 2008 in Los Angeles. Hiroyuki Imaishi and Gainax's robot adventure movie will open in Japan this fall. Nakagawa's theme for last year's Gurren Lagann television series, "Sorairo Days," debuted at #3 on Japan's Oricon weekly singles chart.
