American Ponyo Release Reportedly Gets Producers

Large-scale release said to be planned for film by Hayao Miyazaki, Studio Ghibli
The Nausicaa.net website reports that Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki has announced that the American release plans for the Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea film have been green-lit. Co-producers Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park) have been selected to handle the large-scale American release of the latest film by studio co-founder Hayao Miyazaki (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away).
