Inuyasha theme song performers mark 11th anniversary on Nico Nico Douga site

The website Nico Nico Douga will stream the entire "Do as Infinity 11th Anniversary Live ~More! Core! Rare! Here!~" concert for free on Wednesday, September 29 at 6:30 p.m. Japan Time (5:30 a.m. EDT).

The pop music group Do as Infinity performed the "Fukai Mori" and "Shinjitsu no Uta" ending theme songs for the first Inuyasha television anime series. The members announced in 2008 that they were reuniting on the band's ninth anniversary, and they recorded the "Kimi ga Inai Mirai" opening theme song for the television sequel InuYasha: The Final Act last year.

The tickets for the concert at Tokyo's Shibuya-AX hall had already sold out on the first day of sales. Although the streaming will be free, Nico Nico requires viewers to first register in Japanese. Nico Nico Douga will stream a history video and selected music videos of Do as Infinity 30 minutes before the concert begins. The concert itself will feature music that the group has rarely performed at concerts, as well as other special content.

The group's latest single, "Jidaishin," will go on sale on the day of the concert on mu-mo shop, the online store of the music label Avex.
