The official website of P.A. Works' P.A. Books eBook label revealed the title and story of the planned sequel book to the studio's Tari Tari anime on Thursday.
The book is titled Tari Tari ~Mebaitari Terashitari Yappari Tokidoki Utattari~ (Tari Tari ~Budding, Shining, and Sometimes Singing~), and is set 10 years after the events of the anime, with Wakana, Konatsu, Sana, and other former members of the Shirahamazaka High School choir getting together again to make their own song. New to the story is high school student Yukine, whose story unfolds during summer in Enoshima.
Masakazu Hashimoto, who was in charge of series composition for the original anime, is penning the novel, and original character designer tanu drew the cover.
The first chapter will debut on August 1, and new chapters will debut on the first and 15th of every month.
The label is already publishing a novelization of the studio's True Tears anime, as well as Kuromukuro: Byōsoku 29-man km no Bōrei (Kuromukuro: The Ghost Traveling 290,000 km/s), a sequel of the studio's Kuromukuro anime.
