Kuma Holdings to release drama CD project with BD release of 2 other This Boy anime titles

Kuma Holdings announced through a video on Thursday that it will release This Boy Will Be Called a Villain (Kono Danshi, Akunin to Yobaremasu.), a drama CD that serves as the third installment in Soubi Yamamoto and CoMix Wave Films' This Boy (Kono Danshi) franchise.

Kuma Holdings is streaming a preview of the English dub for the drama CD. The English-dubbed version and a Japanese version with English subtitles will both be included as a bonus on Kuma Holdings' Blu-ray Disc release of "The Kono Danshi Collection, Part 1." The drama CD release will also include "a brand new visual-novel-style video accompaniment, made exclusively for the North American release."

"The Kono Danshi Collection, Part 1" release will include the This Boy is a Professional Wizard and This Boy Suffers from Crystallization anime projects.

The English dub cast for the This Boy Will Be Called a Villain drama CD includes:

Marissa Lenti is the voice director and script writer for the dub.

Yamamoto and CoMix Wave Films released the drama CD in 2013.

Kuma Holdings announced in July that it has licensed the This Boy is a Professional Wizard (Kono Danshi, Mahō ga Oshigoto Desu.) and This Boy Suffers from Crystallization (Kono Danshi, Sekika ni Nayandemasu) anime. The company has released both anime digitally.

This Boy Suffers from Crystallization and This Boy is a Professional Wizard are the fourth and fifth project, respectively, in Yamamoto's Kono Danshi/This Boy series. Crunchyroll streamed both anime.

As a 21-year-old, Yamamoto made her scriptwriting and directorial debut in 2011 with the first 28-minute Kono Danshi anime, Kono Danshi, Uchū-jin to Tatakaemasu. (This Boy Can Fight Aliens!). Her followup, Kono Danshi, Ningyo Hiroimashita. (This Boy Caught a Merman), was released in 2012. Sentai Filmworks licensed and released both anime in North America.
