Netflix India Releases My Little Monster Anime on October 30

Netflix India will stream the anime adaptation of Robico's My Little Monster (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun) manga on October 30.

Netflix India describes the anime:

Shizuku, a hardworking student who isn't interested in socializing, finds an unlikely friend in Haru, an emotionally volatile boy at her school.

The anime premiered in Japan in October 2012.

Hiro Kaburagi (91 Days, Hozuki's Coolheadedness) dierected the anime. Noboru Takagi (Durarara!!, Golden Kamuy) was in charge of series composition. Deko Akao, Noboru Takagi, and Sawako Hirabayashi wrote the scripts. Masato Nakayama (22/7, You and Me.) composed the music.

Robico launched the manga in Kodansha's Dessert magazine in 2008, and ended it in June 2013. Kodansha published 13 compiled book volumes for the manga, and Kodansha Comics released all 13 volumes in English.

The manga also inspired a live-action film that premiered in Japan in April 2018.
