Irodori Sakura Licenses Evanescent by Indie Author Me
OREGON, USA – June 4, 2022 – Irodori Sakura – BL, Yuri, and LGBTQ+ English localization imprint of original Japanese doujinshi publisher Irodori Comics – is proud to announce the license acquisition of indie manga Evanescent by Me. A science-fiction Boys' Love story set in the omegaverse world.
Irodori Sakura has partnered with Me to bring their self-published manga to English-speaking audiences. Me started releasing indie BL manga last year and is now branching out to the Teens' Love genre as well. Irodori Sakura will first bring to English-speaking audiences Me's BL science fiction story Evanescent (Kasumiyuku Kimi to Nandodemo), to be released over the course of four months. Evanescent will be Irodori Sakura's first foray into the fan-favorite omegaverse genre.

In a world where Infections are constantly a threat to humanity, weapon traders and designers play an important role in protecting Isolation Zones and providing tools for exterminating Infections. Verge Chains, an Alpha born to a family running a weapons company, has little interest in the business. However, his father skilfully makes him go visit the Harken family where he is tasked with recruiting Bishop Harken, a genius weapons designer who showed interest only in the offer made by Chains' family. As Verge makes his way to Harken's family home, he locks eyes with a red-eyed boy and is overwhelmed by a strong Omega scent. In no shape to do business, the meeting is postponed, but what will Verge do when he finally meets Bishop who has the lingering scent of the Omega from the day before?
The digital version of Evanescent 1 will release in the second half of June and later be made available on other digital platforms. The work is currently available for pre-order on the Irodori Sakura website priced at $11.25 for 75 pages.
