Waki Kiyotaka to Be Otakon 2023 Guest

Washington, D.C. (June 19, 2023) – The chief producer at Orange, Waki Kiyotaka, will be a guest at Otakon 2023, according to Otakorp Inc. He is the lead production producer for "Trigun Stampede" (2023).

In 2007, Kiyotaka joined the animation Studio Madhouse. After working with producer Yuichiro Saito at Madhouse, in 2011 he joined Mamoru Hosoda's Studio Chizu as one of the founding members. At Studio Chizu, he was involved with projects such as "Wolf Children" (2012) and "Boy and The Beast" (2015).

In 2016, he joined the animation Studio Orange and worked on "Land of the Lustrous" (2017) as producer. Since then as chief producer, he produced "BEASTARS" (2019) and "Godzilla S.P" (2020). Kiyotaka is producing "Trigun Stampede" (2023) for Orange.

Otakon 2023 will be held from July 28 to July 30 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
