I saw the shittiest minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving
hysterical naked,
dragging themselves through the dumpster tweets at dawn looking for an
angry fix,
shitheaded weeaboos burning for the modern 2Gbps connection to the starry
DBS finale in the machinery of Crunchyroll,
who poverty and tatters and hollow-eyed and high sat up vaping in the
cybernetic halflight of cheap battlestations floating across the tops of
magical high schools contemplating nightcore,
who bared their brains to H.F.I.L. under King Kai and saw Super Saiyan
z-fighters staggering on public square roofs illuminated,
who passed through universities with radiant cool eyes hallucinating Tokyo
and Madoka-like tragedy among the scholars of Art,
who were expelled from the academies for horny & publishing lewd doujins
on the windows of the school computer lab,
who cowered in unshaven rooms in underwear, burning their money in
gatchapon and listening to Touhou OSTs through the wall,
who got busted in their neckbeards returning through Arizona with a belt of
VHS tapes for Dragon Con,
who ate fire in convention hotels or drank Asashi Super Dry at LAX, death, or
purgatoried their eyeballs night after night
with dreams, with pocky, with waking nightmares, alcohol and oppai and
endless ahegaos, ---
Winter is the shittiest season, breeding
Sequels out of half-liked properties, mixing
Iyashikei and isekai, stirring
Controversy with After the Rain.
Fall kept us awake, covering
Tumblr in shimmering GIFs, feeding
A little discourse with popular shows.
Summer surprised us, coming over the Abyss
With a shower of pain; we stopped by the WcDonalds
And went into our lairs, into the archives,
And drank coffee, and shitposted for an hour.

Soon many new Popuko and Pipimis were born and these Popuko and
Pipimis covered the earth in shit
- While I don't think that Pop Team Epic has hit any absolute home runs in terms of skits since episode nine or so, eisai haramasukoi is clearly this episode's standout bit. The EDM intro was solid, letting Pipimi's actions illustrate the importance of being kind to your friends/girlfriends/fellow trash elementals. Otherwise, we got some Bob Epic Sakuga in their rendition of this dance, assuaging all complaints that PTE does not contain enough animation.
- Otherwise, this week's story segment was also pretty weak – about on par with the last one, I'd say. It pretty much just recreates the atmosphere of a cliché horror film with Popuko and Pipimi as the monsters, and there wasn't really a joke beyond that. At least the B-side version of this segment was more amusing, with the mysterious mustache man (seriously, who was he?) providing commentary.
- For our voice actors this week, Nana Mizuki and Mamiko Noto are a duo through both Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and the Precure franchise, while Hozumi Gōda and Banjō Ginga are old-school veterans who worked together on Armored Trooper Votoms. I know nothing about these shows, so I cannot comment further.
- So Sosugo IS a memory clone!!! Let it be known to all that I predicted the ending of Hoshiiro Girldrop, in all of its Jun Maeda-esque glory.

Apologies to Allen Ginsburg, T.S. Eliot, and Kathy Acker for what I have done to their work. I await punishment on Twitter, that Moloch whose mind is pure machinery! Moloch whose blood is running money! Moloch whose fingers are ten armies! Or something like that.
