| Berserk (manga) | Masterpiece | This is what a true fantasy/medieval manga is. It has fun, happy, eventful and truly beautiful moments, but also horrific, gory and outright stomach turning events as well. However, that is what makes this manga so great and down right the best I've ever read. The dialog is real and well written, the characters are life like and each are filled with unique personalities, the settings and plots make you feel so immersed as if you were actually there. Many characters such as guts, are an inspiration to many people, including myself. Some say that the manga should have concluded long ago, as some of the manga's chapters were on hiatus for quite some time, but on the other hand we received more amazing content from the author Kentarou MIURA, so it's really a double edged sword. Sadly Miura passed away and with him, the final chapter of berserk was concluded, chapter 364. Maybe there will be more, maybe not, but for now we should all appreciate the wonderful and all inspiring manga Miura has gifted us, and that is Berserk. Overall 10/10 Masterpiece! Nov-2021 |
| Citrus (manga) | Good | It was good. Nothing ground braking, but it was a good yuri manga. The story is quite simple and easy to follow. Basically Yuzu who lost her father some years ago, is now introduced to her step father and step sister when her mother remarried. She grew found of her step sister Mei, and now has a romantic relation ship with her. Some people say it's incest, but they were never blood related so it's not. The art is good and does maintain a systematic look through out the manga. The setting is quite standard, as it does take place when the two characters are in their mid teenage years. The characters are sort of a mixed bag. I loved Yuzu because she was true to her self and an overall fun character. Mei however was quite emotionless sometimes, and quite the opposite of Yuzu. I also have some mixed feelings about the author introducing some characters in the middle of the manga, only for them to be seen in a few chapters of the story. Overall 7.3/10. |

| Prunus Girl (manga) | Very good | This is an example of how a Trap manga should do romance. The story is innocent, sweet, down to earth and has great characters. The reason why it is a Trap manga is because one of the main characters Aikawa does look very feminine and does crossdress, but he states that he is a guy and crossdressing suits his style. Honestly, it's rather disappointing that there are rarely any Trap mangas that cover a story like this, mostly due to the fact that there are hardly any Trap mangas. Sadly, due to lack of popularity during its release, an anime adaption will hardly ever happen which is just down right criminal. Also, due to its lack of popularity, buying any of the books will be a challenge and the only practical way to read them is through 3rd party websites. Overall 8.5/10 Nov-2020 |
| To Love Ru Darkness (manga) | Very good | What a ride. It made its mark in 2010 and ended in 2020, so around 10 years. Time does fly and I remember picking up the manga around 2015 or so. I do wish there was a bit of a better ending, but still this is possibly the best ecchi and comedic manga I have ever read! Hoping for another series! Jan-2021 |
