Oh? Who did the dub? Don't think I have any knowledge on that.

Animax, which means the quality will likely be...questionable, but I'm willing to bite on this one

So many Gundam releases this year man, I can hardly keep up. If I wasn't saving up for a new PC atm I would've bought all the 0079/Zeta BD's by now. Definitely getting Build Fighters too.

If this gets Gunpla to be popular outside of Japan again, I'll buy two copies.

I doubt it. Animax dubs don't usually come to the US, with the only exception being Card Captor Sakura. Maybe it's NYAV Post or Bang Zoom? Gundam The Origins has been coming out with an English dub recently, so I don't see why Build Fighters won't get dubbed by them. That's pretty much the only explanation I can think of.

Nice on Shawn for digging this up. I know a few of the other Gundam shows have SEA English dubs (Age included).

That's what I suspected, I thought I remember hearing there was an Animax dub, just a bit surprised they would put it on there I guess over a North American dub.

That is just cheap and disappointing. They should do a North American dub.

Dubbing is the most expensive part of anime localization. Anyway, hopefully this SEA dub breaks the trend.

Anyhow, I hope we see G-Reco get released here before long.

I was going to comment if Build Fighters was even that popular to justify paying for a dub, but I suppose it is a moot point if the dub is from Animax.

I am mostly a consumer of Universal Century, but I watched the first episode of Build Fighters. And aside from the convenient hot mom, I did not find anything else mildly interesting. So, I will skip this release.

Been buying pretty much all Right Stuf's Gundam discs, so will pick up this one too. I don't know why but I'm strangely fascinated by this one, maybe it's that I build Gunpla, and have the vague feeling that this is like Yu-Gi Oh except wi Gundam model kits instead of trading cards and that sounds both a little lame and a whole lot awesome all at the same time,

Ah men, I really hope that Sunrise does a season 2 for GBF, for me GBF Try was more of a sequel/spin-off. I really want to know what's up with Reiji's world.
