Poor You. Her popularity did not last long. Congrats to Riko!

It seems that You is eternally doomed to be usurped by Riko. RIP.

But at least You does get to be the center in KoiAqua's PV.

Congratulations to Riko.

The way everyone insists on calling her "You" never fails to make me laugh. I suppose that's one way to tell if someone doesn't pay much attention to this franchise.

I have no problem with Riko winning the image girl poll but I still would have preferred it if Yō won. Cool

Not really. I just like calling her You instead of Yō because of the funny confusion it causes. That, and I'm lazy.

Technically, 'You' is not completely incorrect. That's how it would be written in hiragana, and the Funi subs for Sunshine also had it written as You.

Official sources like the jp website and dengeki G's magazine always list her as You Watanabe anyway.

Plus You wears a hat that says "YOU" in the anime.

I've seen that hat. Do they sell replicas of it? I'd like one, if it doesn't cost too much.

Like everyone in the fandom calls her 'You'. The official Japanese merchandise and LLSIF cards romanize her name as You. Funimation romanizes her name as You. Japanese fans romanize her name as You. She wears a hat that says You.

So uh yeah, I'd say that those people 'pay attention to the franchise' just fine. Rolling Eyes

Well, a cap is a kind of hat.

What I mean is that it's the people like me who continue to find amusement at her name being spelled "You" leading to weird-looking sentences who are the ones who don't really pay attention to the franchise. The people who do, I'm guessing, have seen it enough times that they've grown accustomed to it.
