You left out Hashimoto talking about Kingdom Hearts, FF VII Remake, FF XII HD.

Well since Final Fantasy X/X-2 are prequels to Final Fantasy VII. Then maybe when X-3 becomes a reality it can have more than what X-2 had to connect the 2.

I thought FFXVI was a certainty, not a mere possibility.
Don't really care about FF anymore anyway, I just want them to get cracking on the next Kingdom Hearts.

.....FFX & X2 have no association with FFVII all of the games take place in their own separate universes.

Why do I have the feeling that if I did I'd be reading about some crackpot theory that a good majority of the fanbase of both those games quite obviously don't buy into......do to there not being any actual connection between those games.

It's not a "crackpot theory." It was explicitly stated in an interview in the FFX-2 Ultimania that FFX-2 Shinra's descendants eventually took to space, and discovered the Lifestream on FFVII's planet, and created the Shinra Corporation. FFX/X-2 is officially a prequel to FFVII, although on a different planet.

..........okay eventhough the canoncity of all this seems to be in debate, okay.
