Since this was new years and probably most of the mainstream anime probably were on break as shown with low number of viewers

While countries like in Korea where K-Dramas viewer ratings goes beyond 50% Im shocked that the viewer rating in Japan is really low, 5% for the kids show? I know that kids show are supposed to be popular I don't know about the Jdoramas, but the rating per household view is pretty low, at least 10% should be considered as fairly high. I guess most of them just records it or go streaming.

in Japan even if it's a mainstream anime like OP or Naruto the viewer ratings are low, anime ratings are bellow children cartoon viewer ratings. Most of the anime otakus are just recording it. It's because most of the anime simulcast and airs at late at night or airs during the early school hours. |
