Not a fan of dubs but I really liked this series so this is a good thing for the folks who wanted it.

Faint hope for a season 2. Liked this more than Asterisk War for sure.

And there was some rejoicing. Seriously, I really loved this one and I'll watch and wait for each dub update eagerly.

Cool, this one could work well, with a well casted and produced dub.
I hope they put in the effort.
(I was buying in any event)

Except that Asterisk War was a planned split-cour, whereas Rakudai was a 1-cour. The "second season" was going to be a thing regardless of how well the anime was received.
I seem to remember Rakudai doing better than Asterisk in the BD/DVD volume rankings, but neither series sold well enough to warrant more anime.

I'm surprised by this, but happy to see that Sentai views it as a series they'll invest a bit more in. Looking forward to its disc released, may have to import it...as I don't know who (if anyone) has the license for the disc release in Australia.

Though, I assume it'd be Madman, seeing as I watched the series on AnimeLab. Have revisited it a couple of times too, so may watch the dub when I get the series on disc.

And add me to the list of those that would like to see a second season and/or see the LN licensed.

By now, the series would have been dubbed and released anyway. I say this since it is common for a dub boxset to happen at least 12 months after the final TV episode airs (for the standard 12-13 epi. series) in Japan.
