That meteor shower...it looked so epic in my mind when reading the novel. Now in this pv it looked so...cheap Sad

I was hoping the anime would improve my opinion on this, but so far it looks to be on the cheaper looking side of things.

They make it look better than what it actually is.
I've read the LN, WN, and the manga. While it's good when in those format, it'll fail hard as an anime and will definitely get a lot of haters. It's a waste of anime slot.

The CG at the start was just... bad.

You know, I've really been wondering whether Silver Link and Oonuma-san are really up to task for a project this big. They're a pretty solid staff. I like their works. But, y'know. I don't think this would be your normal light novel adaptation.

Well, okay, I also can't really tell whether or not it's actually big. But from all the isekai novels I've known so far, Desumachi definitely has the biggest expectations out of its fans. From the PV so far, the CG was just okay (honestly, the bar has been set really low after last season's Berserk) but I think they got the character designs and the general mood (music) sorta right.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the Meteor Shower too. But then I remembered that it wasn't launched just once and a single duration also lasted pretty long. Here's hoping the production staff are still hiding things up their sleeve.

You can take it either way, but considering the studio has so many projects running at once, roughly 6 current and near future, it fair to say this preview was very low on the priorities list right now. The only announced staff, Oonuma, is scheduled to be chief director on a different show next season with this show airing Winter at the earliest.

Again, that could be a sign this isn't representative of a polished final product, or just the fact they are so extremely busy means that the visuals will be dead on arrival anyway, like has happened more and more recently.

MEGA OP dude. it's a slice of life isekai. There is an over-arching plot but it takes such a back seat that you completely forget about it until it randomly shows up in a very small dose and quickly goes away just as fast. That wasn't a negative btw, The show won't even get that far along even with 24-26 episodes.
