Is ninth good? I guess 500k isn't too bad, considering it's in, what, less than 30 theaters?

29 this time, and this is growth on previous releases (not sure if they upped the number of cinemas this time, though they did lengthen the seasons - whereas 2199 was 2 weeks in 6 theaters, they've slowly grown the number of theaters and the length of the season - three for most of the cinemas, with the biggest six showing it for four weeks).

When you consider the takings compared to other movies that are on a lot more screens, it's doing exceptionally well. So far, Chapter 1 is the only part of 2202 that didn't open in the mainstream top 10.
