So basically Neir-blue Fantasy. Laughing

I wouldn't be surprised if this only got dubbed because the game's in development and Cygames wants to have a cast ready.

Still not a fan of Aniplex USA prices though. Skipping this.

While the other series here are not as well-priced, Eromanga Sensei is incredibly (and surprisingly) cheap for being as popular as it was

I know it is not much of a difference, but I found the $50 price for each of the Eromanga Sensei sets encouraging; they usually charge $10 per sub-only episode on BD. Perhaps they are starting to consider dropping their prices. And finally, I am almost shocked AoA is doing domestic BD releases for Oreimo.

I don't know whether I should be glad or sad that Incest Propagation and Incest Propagation Alternative aren't getting dubbed. Like, I would love every anime eve to be dubbed, but still - I don't condone that stuff.

I'm honestly surprised they're not dubbing Eromanga Sensei considering how popular it was, but the $50 is a BIT better than they usually are, compared to say Erased, which had $90 boxes. Granted that had an English dub, but still.
Also, Eromanga Sensei has three times the members on MAL than Grandblue Fantasy, so not sure why they felt the need to dub that. I know it (Grandblue) sold like hotcakes in Japan, but the Western response was pretty mediocre.

It's fiction...just because people like the series and even the fantasy aspect of it doesn't mean it's the same as condoning it in real life. They're good series in my opinion, this whole moral highground stance on anime is freaking silly.

The JP volumes all came with codes that you could redeem in-game, including for some unique stuff, and extra stuff if you bought all 7 volumes. So I'm sure that's where a lot of the sales came from. Whereas over here, sales will have to come from the merits of the series. And while I enjoyed the old-school RPG feel, I'm certainly not inclined to spend $160 on it.

Wow no dub for 2 series that would do very well here in America. This sucks.

And that's the thing. Was the Granblue Fantasy game EVER officially localized for the U.S?

I agree. I have no personal interest in Eromanga Sensei, but it I'd love to see this become a trend for other titles. I don't mind importing from the UK, but if I can get a NA release at a decent price, that's my preference.

No. Far as I could gather, you'd have to finagle your phone around so you could install the Japanese version, and that game would have an English language option.

That, or play it on your computer via Google Play apps or something like that.

I highly doubt two incest fetish shows will do well here; it is too niche and probably creepy for some. And if Oreimo did not get an English dub 7 years ago, it is not getting one now. Be glad that they are getting localized BD releases; AoA could have easily not done it.
