Really enjoyed Chihayafuru: Musubi. Want to see it again and no doubt will.

Film related goods are selling out rapidly too - some bought up by resellers putting them on auction sites - leaving cinema store shelves nearly empty for anyone not attending a screening in the first few hours after release last Saturday.

Not all bought by resellers though, of course, overheard someone mentioning that they came for a screening of Doraemon and after watching the film she came for she left the store with Chihayafuru merchandise ...

So sad Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou isn't making as well as it should.

In Japan a disk has recently been made available for rental. On Blu-ray and DVD, containing the live-action specials previously streamed through Hulu Japan and a few other local providers. News page: ちはやふる-繋ぐ- and -学び-. Doesn't look like a disk for these episodes is available for sale. The rental disk also includes one trailer each for Kami no Ku, Shimo no Ku and Musubi.

Meanwhile in a different language sphere. A different format and someone else's re-interpretation became available too.

YouTube link - Sentai Filmworks released, in English, a "Chihayafuru Season 2 Official Dub Clip" on March 20, 2018. The clip at least appears to have been made available without regional restrictions. Coinciding with the official release of Sentai's disk sets for the season.

In Japan, next week, the OVA, previously bundled on DVD with the special edition of manga volume 22, will be aired on TV for the first time, on some regional stations affiliated with NTV. As part of ちはやふる 秀歌撰
