Knowing Funi they'd just quit the smuldub half way through like Puzzles & Dragons and Monster Hunter Ride-on if it doesn't get enough views. Wouldn't watch it until it's finished if they did personally.

Both of those shows experienced licensing issues. ones back, the other isn't. low views don't cause that

I think there's more to it than that. It could have very well been a licensing issue. I thought I read somewhere that the only reason they were continuing it back there was because some Chinese studio was backing production or something so Funimation and Crunchyroll may have had a harder time with re-licensing it.

The simuldub isn't back for either of those shows. They've been cancelled because no one was watching.

i meant one show is back streaming and the other is still facing licensing issues. Sure, the Puzzles and Dragons simuldub didn't continue when CR got more eps, but that's no guarantee its stopped for good

Monster Hunter Ride-On actually ran into an issue and it's called Johnny's Entertainment because Japan went with one of that agency's bands (Johnny's West) for the most recent opening and they're infamous for overcharging international companies for use of their artists & actors and have caused problems for certain shows that got streamed and released here (see Inuyasha, Kodocha, One Piece, Skull Man, Yu-Gi-Oh (late 4Kids run) & Toriko).

And now Viz might be screwed with the new Captain Tsubasa because that same band is doing it's opening theme.
