Poor Wadanohara, that license was clearly for those existing fans and no one else heh.
Shout out for Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou!

I'm more interested in Detective Conan being lumped in under 'adult series', but stuff like My Hero Academia is for kids. They're both for kids.

I'm surprised that Land of the Lustrous and Delicious in Dungeon both got put in the kids section while Case Closed is in the adults. I'm also surprised to see Nozaki-kun put in the underrated gems section, since I thought it was pretty well known and regarded. But there are a lot a good picks on this list, and I'm happy to see lots of series that I like on there.

Another classic example of why other's opinions should be ignored (ironic, I know...)

Kakegurui, Detective Conan, Silver Spoon that are for Shonen (kids/teens) are "Series for Grown-Ups" in the US?
Land of the Lustrous, Delicious in Dungeon, Laid-Back Camp, Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction that are for Seinen (young adults) are "Series for Kids/Teens" in the US?
Maybe there some mess up when writing the article and there will be a correction from ANN. If not, who chose this manga demographics in the US? Are they reading the stories?

@Jonny Mendes I understand why they'd put Silver Spoon and Kakegurei on the list for adults. Silver Spoon's themes appeal more to older teens/young adults, and Kakegurei seems too weirdly sexual for it to be on a kids' list.
Yes, the people that picked the list have read the stories. I don't agree with all their choices (I didn't notice Dedede Demons in the kid's section before, which I wouldn't want a kid to read and is categorized by Viz as mature), but they're free to recommend whatever they want.

Having a worst manga section is just dumb imo. At best you annoy the fan of the series and you contribute absolutely nothing. I don't even personnally read any of these.
The other categories are good. Megan knows what's up.

I take offense at Wadanohara being listed as worst manga.

Just here to clarify that the groupings are based on the PowerPoint from the panel and not an error/mistake in the article.

Dissolving Classroom by Junji Ito, published by Vertical Comics Brigid's pick |
oi oi, Deb and Brigid you're goin' down
(I am interested in hearing why they think these titles are worst. Like, Fire Punch is probably an acquired taste and Dissolving Classroom isn't one of Ito's best works, but I feel there's scores of worse manga being published)

I think they at least were pretty right about the underrated series. People hardly mention Nozaki-kun and Giant Killing is criminally unknown.
Also Fire Punch was a little bit trash but I commend the author for doing something different.
All in all I approve of this random list of opinions that I slightly agree with.

I’m interested in Golosseum.
Cause I heard it’s absolutly bonkers like it was made on a ton of drugs.
