If u are talking about a certain ''Scene'' that occurs in this arc if they adapt that far, there really my be a need to worry, if it comes to it, we definitely need a s3 afterword or least some ova's afterword.

I was mostly talking about the fact that the 2nd cour is only listed with 12 episodes. The 1st cour needed 14 to adapt the 1st arc, and even then they had to cut some chapters here and there. The 2nd car is an entire book longer. I am kinda hoping they only adapt parts 1 and 2, and a 3rd cour will be Fall 2020 to adapt parts 3 and 4.

Since this is a split cour and they didn't rush the first half that much, I doubt they'll rush the second half to that extent. I expect it to adapt 2 volumes. 3 volumes would be rushed but I can still see it happen. I doubt they'll adapt 4 volumes and ruin everything they did so far.

Because this is so good and with so much going on and continuing, to do it justice this needs to be like one of those endless shounen series.

Ascendance of a Bookworm seems to be pretty popular in Japan right now so this will probably get a third season too if season two does well.
