Shannon McCormick in a new anime dub? As the lead? Wow.

Nice cast mix here. Nice to see Arnie Pantoja with a new role.

Today I learned that the voice of Ozpin was also Akabane Kuroudo from GetBackers. Wow. Like this isn’t a case of mistaken identity, right?

Also I do agree with MFrontier, it’s awesome to see Arnie getting another role.

I just caught up with the anime and it’s so much fun! Hopefully, a dub will give it a popularity boost!
Hmm...the article says that the landmass’s name is “Ringarindo” but Funi’s subs call it “Lingalind”—but using a term with “ring” in it actually makes sense because the landmass seems to be circular.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few things are tweaked for the dub, both for normal localization reasons and because the subs occasionally made some weird choices that look odd in context.

Jeremy Inman seems to at least be putting in a bit more effort in the casting department for the Black Arrow dub then he has in the last several years as a ADR Director compared to his other directed dubbing projects so that's a start but he's proven to be a hit and miss director when it comes to directing and casting dubs. I'm not entirely sure if Jeremy will improve I would like to see him to continue to cast outside his comfort zone actually push himself to be more bold and creative with his casting choices because simply blending in with the rest of Funimation's boring hive casting mindset is what he's been doing since his return to full time ADR directing back in 2015.
