Very interesting. Tokyopop is so different to virtually every other publisher out there. Their approach to everything is always different.

Good stuff, and I really hope they can do more "Deluxe" editions for Japanese manga.

Tokyopop should seriously re-print Kodomo no Omocha. They would make a LOT of money off of it.
I'm probably the only one who looks at the prices for this manga frequently (I'm trying to hunt down volumes Seven and Ten) but I have seen volumes of this manga sold for well over Eighty-Dollars before on sites like Amazon.
In fact, I think that, at the moment, it is impossible to get a brand-new, still wrapped, never been opened/touched by Human hands volume of Kodocha for under Fifty Dollars.
I think it would be nice if Tokyopop would re-print Marmalade Boy too, but I'm not getting my hopes up for that one...

On another note, I really would like to see a D.N. Angel Deluxe edition similar to the Fruits Basket Deluxe Edition.

The only thing I;m interested is Bizenghast's 5th through 7th books and the novel series that I already knew about. Plus Otomen, that apparently isn't going to be published by tokyopop. And I may check out the Princess Ai Trilogy.

I'd love to see Kodocha and Marmalade Boy reprint. I did not buy those series and now the chance is gone.

Wow, won't my sister be pleased when I tell her that her beloved Kodocha manga set is worth a pretty penny. I had Marmalade Boy and I sold it off a couple of years ago. I really regret it...Confused

I wouldn't say that. You might want to browse some extra bookstores. I know the Waldenbooks near me had a near-complete set of Marmalade Boy left last time I was there a couple of weeks ago, and I only just bought both series in the past year, finding the majority of the volumes at local bookstores where they'd been rotting (figuratively) away on the manga shelves. Although admittedly I haven't seen any Kodocha volumes since I snapped up the series (and a spare volume 6) a year ago.
