I was lucky enough to pick up Blue the first time it was featured on RTO for $16 or so. It's a great piece, and I'm sad to see it's even less available than it was back then.

Sounds like you were lucky to act fast. Blue sounds great! I will have to try to hunt it down... Maybe inter-library loan...

Blue does indeed sound like something worth picking up.

Nice timing on the Sacred Blacksmith review, I just finished it myself. I would agree it is an enjoyable read. I noticed a little Funimation logo on the back cover too. Reading this volume makes me want to go back and re-watch some of the show. It feels like it's been awhile since it had been released!

Sorta a harsh review on Fortress of the Apocalypse. Seems unfair to call it exactly like other zombie sagas when we have spoiler[a mysterious man who can somehow control the zombies to preform feats that should be far beyond them]. Naturally there are lots of familiar things as far as the zombie theme goes, but that alone was enough to keep me very interested. I think it will make for a pretty interesting anime down the road.

I'm also kinda amused that it almost seems like its trying to be the anti-HoTD, considering the whole cast has been male for a good 3 or 4 volumes. Given the base setting it makes sense, but it still makes me laugh a bit.
